The online Conference “Civic responsibilities online and offline: Lifelong learning for digital and traditional citizenship education” will take place on April the 28th via the platform Go To Meeting, and it aims at presenting and discussing the outcomes of the latest edition of the Citizenship & Lifelong Learning Monitor.

The publication to be released by the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS) and SOLIDAR Foundation and, is a research report on the topic of policy developments in the field of attainment of skills, through lifelong learning, for active participation in society.

The report investigates digital skills, civic competences and intercultural education competences, by analysing the policies on the topic and presenting best practices coming from organised progressive civil society.

The Conference is articulated in three sessions, each aiming to discuss one building block together with the overall findings of the report.

  2. Digital Citizenship: 15:45h to 17:00h
  3. Intercultural Dialogue: 17:30h to 18:45h

Policymakers, researchers and stakeholders will be gathered in each session to discuss the main findings and the policy recommendations included in the report. Confirmed participants include László Andor (Secretary General, FEPS), MEP Petra Kammerevert and MEP Victor Negrescu.

You can register in this form to participate. It is possible to attend just one or more sessions, according to the participant’s interests.
