Andreina De Leo is an Early-Stage Researcher (ESR) within the Marie Curie Doctoral programme ‘LIMES – The Hardening and Softening of Borders: Europe in a Globalising World’. She is based at the Department of International and European Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Maastricht, in the Netherlands. She has also worked as a Junior Policy Analyst in the European Migration and Diversity Programme at the European Policy Centre. Her research primarily focuses on the legal and policy implications of EU migration cooperation with third countries. The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 847596.
