Sociologist specializing in transformations in the world of work, job quality, and particularly issues of workplace discrimination and the role of gender in shaping the social division of labor.

Author of books and academic articles, including publications on gender and discrimination. She conducts research and develops equality policies in institutions, particularly at the University of Warsaw. Co-author of the Gender Equality Plan for the University of Warsaw—the first such document in Poland—and the Gender Equality Plan for the City of Warsaw Office, as well as recommendations on equality and anti-discrimination for other universities and institutions. For many years she cooperated with trade unions and social movements in Poland.
