
Philip KILONZO
Philip is a programmes, policy and campaign professional who has served in the development field over the last 24 years in diverse sectors. He has over 20 years of technical and programming experience in resilience building and in advancing social justice with women, young people, smallholder farmers and excluded populations leading work in the land and natural resources, climate change, humanitarian, extractives and in advancing the right to food and climate resilient practices in agriculture sector. He also has global experience in coordinating policy and campaign agenda in land, natural resources and livelihoods gained through co-convenorship of international platforms and contributing to international campaigning.
He has a cumulative experience of over 23 years of working in and through partnerships an experience that serves to strengthen PACJA work in social movements building and in effective campaign actions. His demonstrated leadership of policy influencing and campaign agenda in PACJA at pan African and global level is a testament to his conceptual clarity, competence and organizing power. Previously, Philip provided leadership to the policy and campaign work of ActionAid International ensuring global platforms on land and natural resources are effective and too in leading the programme portfolio of the Kenya Country organization.
