Oscar Ernerot is Secretary General of the Olof Palme International Center and a longstanding advocate for international solidarity, democracy and social justice. With a background in the Swedish trade union movement, he has held several senior leadership positions and built extensive international networks across the progressive family.

His experience spans cooperation between political parties, trade unions and civil society organisations, with a particular focus on democratic resilience, peace and common security, workers’ rights and international cooperation. He brings practical experience from supporting progressive movements and democratic actors in Europe and across the globe.
