This book offers a selection of case studies to reflect the diversity and wide spectrum of populist movements that presently exist in Europe and North America. It provides a snapshot of groups ranging from new street movements and quasi-parliamentary organisations to those that have been somewhat systematised, representing an effort to further understand them and to combat them through rigorous, multidisciplinary research and empirical analysis.

The launch will bring together policymakers, academics, journalists and the general public to discuss the findings as well as the broader issues surrounding the growth of right wing populism.

The book is co-edited by FEPS with Centro per la riforma dello Stato and Fondazione Italianieuropei
