  • May 3, 1936: The Front Populaire won the legislative elections
  • May 10th, 1981: François Mitterrand was elected President of the French Republic
  • May 6th, 2012: François Hollande was elected President of the French Republic

FEPS with Jean Jaurès Foundation and Terra Nova are organising a debate on the Left in Governement (“La Gauche et le Pouvoir”, in French)
The debate will take place in Paris on Tuesday 3rd May in Paris, from 9.00 to 13.00

Among the speakers: Alain Bergounioux, Massimo D’Alema, Gilles Finchelstein, Jean-Noël Jeanneney, Ernst Hillebrand, Marc Lazar, Thierry Pech, Anne-Laure Ollivier et Ania Skrzypek. 

The debate will be concluded by French President, François Hollande
