FEPS is very proud to be launching a new programme that is devoted to forging a conversation on the future of progressivism in the Central and Eastern Europe. Benefitting from the generous and kind invitation of Jan Hamacek, Speaker of the Deputies Chamber, the group of 33 representatives – elected politicians age 35 – 45 –  from 11 EU Member States of the Region will gather for a two days’ programme. It’s building pillars involve debates on the political situation in the Czech Republic, alongside with sessions enabling a broader exchange regarding the state of social democracy within the region and its main agenda points vis-a-vis the European Union. The herewith established Network will meet still twice this year, to both deepen the reflections and to consolidate.
