As part of FEPS Millennial Dialogue initiative a survey on the political engagement of young Mozambicans was conducted to create a better understanding of how progressives can re-connect with this demographic. The final report will be presented and discussed with local experts and will complement the spectrum of research conducted so far on the Millennial generation and its relationship with politics and political systems.

At first, the quantitative and qualitative parts of the report will be presented, ensued by a discussion on three dimensions. The first one aims at enabling a reflection on why there is a higher participation of young people in civic moments in contrast with political parties in Mozambique (second discussion). The concluding session aims at bridging the European and global research with the local context.
