Six months after the Brussels attacks last March, FEPS and the Italianieuropei Foundation, in partnership with the daily newspaper Le Soir, organised a public debate to ask questions and find answers in the face of the radicalisation of some young people.

Among the speakers Ismaël Saïdi, director and dramatist, author of the play Jihad ; Johan Leman, Emeritus Professor KUL, Malika Hamidi, Doctor in Sociology EHESS-Paris, Director General of the European Muslim Network ; John Gatt-Rutter, Head of the Counter Terrorism Division at the European External Action Service of the European Commission ; Charles Picqué, Mayor of Saint-Gilles, President of the Brussels Parliament ; Béatrice Delvaux, Chief Editor of Le Soir newspaper and Massimo D’ Alema, President of FEPS and former Prime Minister of Italy.
