The FEPS Next Left Group (merged from the networks formerly known as Focus and Working Groups) will meet for a closed session in the hospitable premises of the Renner Institut on 19th and 20th November 2018. The purpose of the gathering is a triple folded one. First of all, the members will look at the draft layout of vol. 11 of the FEPS Next Left books and will also present the final drafts of their newer papers – which are based on the research completed by them in years 2017 – 2018. Secondly, they will evaluate the cycle and see in which way to structure their programme for the year 2019, especially that it is going to be particularly challenging time with the European Elections on the horizon. Last but not least, the Group will devote time to two additional discussions – with the representatives of the SPÖ and Renner Institut about the political situation in Austria, as also with the delegation of the FEPS Young Academics Network on the proposals depriving from their (almost finalised) papers. Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact either Dr. Ania Skrzypek, FEPS Senior Research Fellow or Ms Celine Guedes, FEPS Junior Policy Advisor.
