Recognising the important work that the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS) has been carrying out both within but also beyond European borders, the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) has granted special consultative status to our Foundation. This enables FEPS to actively engage with ECOSOC and its subsidiary bodies, as well as with the United Nations Secretariat, programmes, funds and agencies in a number of ways.

This recognition comes after a thorough consideration process that has lasted almost two years. As the only progressive political foundation at EU level, FEPS is now even better equipped to deepen and widen its important international work, not only in promoting collective action for a sustainable world, but also in enhancing global solidarities.
