Annarosa PESOLE
Annarosa Pesole is an economist specialising in labour markets and innovation, currently serving as the economic and technological advisor to the Italian Minister of Labor and Social Policies. Prior to this role, she led the FutureJobs project at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, focusing on measuring and analysing digitally mediated labour in Europe. Pesole has contributed to various task forces, including those of the OECD, ILO, and Eurostat, addressing platform economy measurement with an emphasis on employment and working conditions. Her academic background includes a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of Milan and a Master’s degree from Queen Mary University of London. Her research interests encompass innovation, technology, and their broader societal impacts.
