Anton MARCINČIN


Anton Marcinčin is a Slovak economist specialising in fiscal policy and regional development. He has worked for the World Bank, served as a Member of Parliament, and later advised the finance minister. He was also the government’s plenipotentiary for underdeveloped regions. As of 2025, he serves as an economist for the Confederation of Trade Unions. He has published and edited dozens of studies, including “Economic Policy in Slovakia, “Losses from the Exclusion of Roma,” and “Regional Development Yearbook,” and is a regular commentator for the media.
