Emily MURPHY


Emily Murphy is a Lecturer in Sociology in the Department of Sociology at the University of Limerick. Prior to this, she worked as senior researcher on health inequalities at the Think Tank for Action on Social Change (TASC). Her research area is economic sociology, with a focus on inequality, stratification, labour markets and the life course. She studied Business, Economics and Social Studies at Trinity College Dublin, completed an MSc in Sociology at Oxford University, and holds a PhD from the University of Lausanne (NCCR LIVES).
