Gilles IVALDI
Gilles Ivaldi is a researcher in politics and a professor at Sciences Po Paris (CEVIPOF, CNRS). His main research interests include French politics, parties and elections, the far right, and a comparative study of populism in Europe and the USA. He is the author of ‘De Le Pen à Trump: le défi populiste’ (Editions de l’Université de Bruxelles, 2019) and ‘The 2017 French Presidential Elections. A political Reformation?’ (Palgrave MacMillan, 2018, with Jocelyn Evans). He recently coedited ‘The Impacts of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine on Right-Wing Populism in Europe’ (European Center for Populism Studies (ECPS), 2023) with Emilia Zankina. His research has appeared in journals such as Electoral Studies, the International Journal of Forecasting, Revue Européenne des Sciences Sociales, French Politics, Revue Française de Science Politique and Political Research Quarterly.
