Glyn Ford was a Labour MEP for 25 years from 1984-2009 and during that time was Leader of the British Delegation and Deputy-Leader of the S&D Group. He specialised on the International Trade and Foreign Affairs Committees in East Asia after being a visiting Professor at Tokyo University prior to his election.
