Nicholas Charron is a Professor in Political Science at the University of Gothenburg and a Research Fellow at the Quality of Government Institute. His research focuses on political institutions, corruption, European governance, regional studies, gender equality and electoral behavior and is the principal investigator of the European Quality of Government Index survey. His work has been published in journals such as The Journal of Politics, European Journal of Political Research, Comparative Political Studies, Journal of European Public Policy and Regional Studies.
