
Stefania GYFTOPOULOU
Stefania Gyftopoulou is an architect and urbanist with an MSc in Building and Urban Design in Development from UCL’s Development Planning Unit (DPU). She has more than fifteen years of experience in architecture, housing research, and managing sustainable urban development projects funded by the EU. She is currently Project Manager of Rock the Block – Integrated Participatory Roadmaps for Affordable Co-Living, a European Urban Initiative project implemented by the Municipality of Egaleo, which focuses on establishing a local housing strategy and a Municipal Housing Office. She also serves as Project Coordinator of Hydro-Heritage Cities, an URBACT Innovation Transfer Network led by the Municipality of Chalandri, dedicated to developing an Investment Plan for an Urban Lab in Chalandri. In addition, she is Housing Strategy Lead at the Mazi Housing Advisory Board.
