Venere Stefania SANNA
Venere Stefania Sanna is a post-doctoral research fellow in the department of Methods and Model for Economics, Territory and Finance (MEMOTEF) at the Sapienza University of Rome. She holds a PhD in Economic Geography and a master’s in Economics. Venere has been involved in many national and international projects from the Galapagos Islands via Central America to the European Union, and her research interests include regional economic development, local development policies, and European integration. Her research often supports policymakers in local government. She is currently conducting research on transition movements and the contribution of community-based initiatives towards a more sustainable society, the sharing economy, and immigrant integration issues. Her research method is based on a strong interdisciplinary approach which incorporates policy and practice impacts, and her eclectic publication record reflects her diversity in fields of knowledge and study.
