Member of the Parliament and Vice-President of the S&D Group since 2019, in charge of gender equality, health, children’s rights, youth and relations with Trade Unions. She is a Member of the Committee on Environment, Public health and Food Safety (ENVI), a substitute member of the FEMM committee and the Committee on Culture and Education (CULT). Heléne is also a Member of the Sub-Committee on Public Health (SANT). In addition to her Committee work, Heléne is a substitute member of the Delegation for relations with South Africa. She is also a member of the Children’s Rights Intergroup and the Trade Union Intergroup.
