Catherine MITHIA
Catherine Mithia is an economist and policy research professional with more than seven years of experience in development economics and finance. She leads the Sovereign Debt Management portfolio at the African Forum and Network on Debt and Development (AFRODAD), driving policy and advocacy on debt governance, restructuring, sustainability, and reform of the global debt architecture. Her research and publications focus on debt sustainability analysis and illicit financial flows, including work on Kenya’s oil and gas sectors. Catherine holds a master’s degree in public policy and administration from Kenyatta University and is dedicated to advancing African perspectives in regional and global development finance policy debates.
