Ella Välimäki is an expert at Demos Helsinki working at the intersection of technology, public policy and society. Her work focuses on AI governance, algorithmic systems and the societal impacts of emerging technologies. She has contributed to research on defining successful AI for society; trustworthy AI; and how algorithmic systems can better support inclusive, ethical and human-centric public services. She specialises in stakeholder engagement and strategic communications, helping translate complex evidence into actionable policy.
