The FEPS Next Left Focus Group will meet for the second time this year, to discuss the mid-term outcomes of the research that respective members have been concluding.

The session will be chaired by Dr. Alfred Gusenbauer and among the themes are: How progressive values can contribute to redefining macroeconomic policies?; Attitudes to Social Justice in post-crisis Europe; Good work in globalised labour markets; The Next Social Contract – a new vision for European Society; A New Social Europe – and role of trade unions on the way to it.

Additionally, the session will be devoted to summarizing the outcomes of the recent FEPS – RI Next Left mission to Harvard Law School, as also the two Next Left Round Tables in Riga and Barcelona.
