Our guest will be Peter Hunt, a British politician, cooperative activist and thinker. Between 1998 and 2008 he was Secretary General of Co-operative Party. Since 1927 the Co-operative Party has had an electoral pact with the Labour Party. He is the founder and executive director of the think tank MUTUO (www.mutuo.coop), the leading advocate for mutuals, promoting all types of co-operative & mutual business.

Peter will present the document „Framing the New Progressive Narrative: A Mutual and Cooperative Approach to the Economy and Society“, which was prepared for FEPS. Dr. Andreja Črnak Meglič, State Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, will also present her views and experiences in the discussion.

Our guest will be commenting also the general situation in UK prior the parliamentary elections and the negotiations of Brexit.
