Friday 29: European University Institute, Villa Salviati, Historical Archives of the European Union Saturday 30: Casa del Popolo 25 Aprile, via Bronzino, Firenze

The construction of a stronger European narrative to contrast populist and anti-European forces necessarily passes from stronger and cleaner national standpoints on the European agenda.

Ahead of the 2019 European Elections, the event offers the opportunity to kick-off a discussion on how to define the terms in which European progressivism is addressed by domestic public opinion and national policy-makers.

Three parallel workshops will focus on:

  • How to built up a European public space
  • How to deliver on a new social Europe
  • What an EU-vision for migration and integration
