The objective of the assessment visit is to explore the complex relations between the increasing support of populist and nationalist movements in the SEE region and the challenges of representative democracy in the light of the EU enlargement process. Hence, the meetings will be held with a various group of stakeholders (academics, civil society organisations, politicians) and will aim to have analytical, in-depth dialogues among the participants.
