The New Equality Academy 2024 is the continuation of the successful FEPS-Policy Solutions cooperation on the “New Equality Academy” project. This project aims to build bridges among progressive political forces by providing training to social democratic and green-left youth. 

The New Equality Academy 2024, will consists of 6 training sessions on different topics, followed up by a podcast and a summary which can be found here.

The six training sessions will focus on the following topics:
1. Progressive Economy – economic models in the European Union, the lessons of the Nordic model.
2. Class and Politics in Hungary – Why does Orbán have a broad social base?
3. Capitalism and Mental Health – What psychological traumas are caused by the economic and social order that surrounds us, and how can politics address them?
4. Evaluation of Hungary’s 20 years in the European Union – How to interpret the Hungary-EU relationship? Is there a way out of the middle-income trap?
5. The Just Green Transition – How can we help the poor in the green transition?
6. Values and Policy Preferences in Hungary – What are the values, problems, and hopes of the Hungarian society?
