The European Institute of Health and Sustainable Development (EIHSD), based in Latvia, and FEPS organised an expert seminar on the conceptualisation of a European Health Union and related policy at the European level.

This meeting served to discuss preliminary findings of a book on the conceptualisation of a European Health Union under the guidance of former commissioner Vytenis Andriukaitis, whilst at the same time, providing relevant inputs from policymakers about the ongoing research. It offered the possibility to policymakers and stakeholders to provide inputs and recommendations for the researchers active in this important policy field which we hope the Union will be able to integrate further.
