FEPS – the Foundation for European Progressive Studies, together with the Renner Institut, Fundación Democracia y Desarrollo, Fundación Salvador Allende and IGLP Harvard Law School held between 19 and 21 November 2014 a high level international symposium on “Next Left: A Progressive Answer to the Global Social Question” in Santiago de Chile.

The symposium was the fifth in a series of high-level debates within the FEPS Next Left Research Programme “Dialogue of Dialogues”. Having taken place at Brown University, at Harvard Law School, at Oxford University and at the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona since 2010, these seminars have gathered outstanding scholars, experts and policymakers who jointly elaborated bold proposals for the future of the progressive agenda in the EU and worldwide.
