The first in a series of meetings within this project, it gathered many European cooperative and mutual representatives alongside Belgian, UK, France, the Netherlands and Ireland as participating countries and coops sectors.

The objective of the project is to look at the potential for cooperatives to further the progressive agenda across Europe. Our societies are at risk of the dominance of a particular type of business and everybody is paying the price, whereas coops are continuing to thrive, even in difficult economic times.
