Mialy DERMISH is an education specialist, previously working with the UNHCR in Brussels. She has been a preschool teacher in Hong Kong, an English as a Second Language teacher for migrants in London, conducted research and advocacy campaigns on topics such as supporting parents, HIV protection for girls in school, and started her own non-profi t to fund youth projects in Madagascar. She holds an M.Ed in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). Dermish believes it will only be a matter of time until we see a world where collaborative action by involved and motivated individuals meets the hyper-mobile demands and challenges placed on students, families and children
