Amy C. Alexander is a professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Gothenburg. Her research focuses on the sources of gender equality and its effects on social values, democratisation, governance and political representation around the globe. She has published on this in several peer-reviewed journals, such as Political Research Quarterly, Electoral Studies, International Organization, and the European Journal of Political Research.
