Colm MURPHY
Lecturer in British Politics at Queen Mary Uni- versity of London. His research focuses on the contemporary history of party politics and political economy in the UK and Ireland. His first book, Futures of Socialism (Cambridge University Press, 2023) interrogated socialist and social-democratic debates about the political future of the Labour Party (UK) from the 1970s to the 1990s. His work has also been published in the academic journals English Historical Review, The Political Quarterly, History Workshop Journal, and Modern British History and in publications such as the Observer, Fabian Review, Institut Montaigne, Renewal, The Conversation, and History Today. He is a Special Sections Editor at The Political Quarterly.
