Ilaria Nilges, originally from Italy, is currently a final year student of her double degree in Criminology and Sociology at UWE Bristol. She joined the ThinkYoung research team during her placement year as a research assistant. She has contributed by writing sections of several projects, conducting in-depth literature reviews and discourse analysis, and by organising, moderating and analysing focus group sessions. In addition to having an interest in youth, human rights and social inclusion, she is a young enthusiast of gender equality seeking to deepen her knowledge regarding gender-based crimes and the psychosocial explanations behind them.
