Executive Director, Amicus Europae Foundation of Aleksander Kwaśniewski

Ireneusz Bil is the Chairman of the Amicus Europae Foundation, an NGO established by the former President of Poland Aleksander Kwaśniewski to support European integration and cooperation between EU and its Eastern neighborhood.

A specialist in energy economics by education, focusing on issues related to energy markets liberalization & regulation. Previously a successful civil servant, Ireneusz Bil served at the National Security Bureau and the Office of the President of Poland. He also taught on energy issues at the Warsaw School of Economics, as Assistant Professor at the World Economy Research Institute.
