In the 2025-2026 edition, the topical focus has been expanded, building on the work of the previous programme. The focus will be on:

• The impact of AI on productivity and whether measurable increases in productivity translate to better working conditions
• The use of AI systems in the public sector
• Trade union capacity building in the realm of digital technologies in the workplace

With the insights from the second Digital Programme, we hope to inform debates around public sector digitalisation across Europe as well as support trade unions in ensuring that workplace digitalisation benefits workers and respects fundamental rights like the right to privacy and data protection.
