FEPS Ones to Watch Programme will celebrate it’s 5th seminar! Following the events in Prague, Warsaw, Budapest and Sofia – the Members of the programme (elected progressive politicians from Central and Eastern Europe) will meet in Ljubljana – to enjoy a two and a half day seminar, which in its thematic building blocks will strongly focus on the state of EU, role of the Central and Eastern Europe and the perspective of the upcoming 2019 European elections.

The latest will be discussed also in details at the public event, which organised with Progressiva and Renner Institute, will feature among the others Jo Leinen MEP – co-author of the recent European Parliament’s report on Reform of the EU electoral law and hence after the Chair of the FEPS research initiative devoted to exploring ways for the transnational parties to consolidate, grow and boost their potential.

Additionally, the FEPS Ones to Watch Members will have a chance to visit two SD mayors in their respective Slovenian cities on Friday, as also during the closed session on Saturday complete some of already earlier launched debates on state of public services in CEE region. For more information please contact Dr. Ania Skrzypek, FEPS Senior Research Fellow or Kate Koc (kate.koc@feps-europe.eu), FEPS Events Organiser.
