After a very successful sequence of both public and closed experts debates, FEPS together with Centrum Ignacego Daszynskiego (CID) as also with the tremendous support of the FES Warschau and Foundation Jean Jaures, is holding its’ fourth “Call to Europe” seminar this weekend in a hospitable Trzebnica in Lower Silesia. The objective of this particular event is to bring together a group of the progressive academics from across the country to submerge themselves in an exciting, intellectually stimulating discussion regarding the take on the 30 years of transformation for both Europe and Poland. The seminar is composed of 6 thematic blocks, each of which will feature presentation of the research papers and the follow up peer reviews. The overall coordination as far as the output will remain in the hands of Professor Miroslaw Karwat, Professor Anna Paczesniak (Member of FEPS Scientific Council), Dr Bartosz Rydlinski (Chair of CID) and Dr Ania Skrzypek (FEPS Senior Research Fellow) – whom you are more than welcome to write about any further queries. To that end, it is expected that the closing 5th meeting of the series will take place in Gdansk in fall, so definitely stay tuned!
