The State of Populism in Europe is an initiative that aims to shed a deeper understanding of the root causes of the populism trends in the European continent whilst looking at the potential solutions that could empower progressive forces to address them. The event will therefore consist of a public conference where experts from various member states will share their own countr-specific cases of populism and an internal meeting of the FEPS populism expert team that will compile the recommendations for socialists and social democrats in a useful and catchy Handbook in mid 2018.
