Foundation for European Progressive Studies, Fondation Jean Jaurès and Karl-Renner-Institut organise the fifth annual international seminar, and this edition looks at the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the EU and Israel, as an important milestone in recalibrating our bilateral relationship. The conference will be held in Tel Aviv, on 2-3 November 2019, at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), and is organised with the support of the Macro Center for Political Economics, and the INSS.

The seminar will bring together distinguished decision-makers and policy experts from Europe and Israel, providing an ideal opportunity to discuss and analyse how the opportunities and challenges that exist in the bilateral relationship can be best tackled in the future.

It will focus on 3 sets of key issues:

– The future of Euro-Israeli shared values

– The future of economic relations between Israel and Europe

– The future of the region through an EU-Israel lens

Draft agenda to be announced soon.
