The Europapolitische Akademie 2024 is a training academy that is aimed at young social democrats, aged between 20 and 40 years. Approximately 16 to 18 functionaries and members of the Austrian Social Democrats and their youth organisations are expected to take part in the academy. The Europapolitische Akademie will consist of four seminar weekends in Vienna and a three-day introductory tour to Brussels. The Europapolitische Akademie aims to provide the participants with extensive knowledge about the European Union, its institutions, the EU legislative process, and core policies. Social-democratic positions will be in the centre of the discussions.

1st training module. Topic: Institutions, legislation and Social Europe.

The seminar covered the introduction to the European Union, Institutions, legal bases and legislation in the EU. The topic of the European Green Deal was disscussed and the participants had the opportunity to meet the graduates of the previous editions of the European Political Academy.
