This training project aims to assess the new trends in the most important public policy issues, the most controversial social and economic matters. The first round of debates will be organized with the Hungarian leaders of the socialist party, featuring top modern left-wing experts on the issues in question.

The planned topics are:

  • Modern monetary theory
  • The concept of class in politics
  • Sustainability in practical politics
  • Critical psychology in politics
  • Successful left parties around the world

In the second half of the project, party leaders, together with experts, will organise regional forums with the full membership and sympathisers, using the « left political credo » produced as a result of the discussions.

After the debates on each topic, a media campaign will be launched together with the experts. Podcasts, articles, TV interviews and social media campaigns will be published/launched.
