From 20 to 22 June 2016, the Foundation for European Progressive Studies and the Karl Renner Institute (Vienna, Austria) organized a study visit of ten young Austrians to Brussels. The group were participants of the Karl Renner Institute’s “Europapolitische Akademie” (Academy on European Politics), a seminar with the aim to deepen the knowledge of the European Union, its institutions, EU legislation, and policies. Another aim was to spread and to discuss the progressive vision of Europe.

The Brussels trip marked the final highlight of this seminar, which consisted of four weekends of in-depth discussions on European politics. The programme of the Brussels study visit was similarly intensive, including meetings at FEPS, the European Parliament and the Austrian Representation to the EU.
