In anticipation of the presidential elections in Senegal on 26 February 2012, a delegation of European Foundation for Progressive Studies (FEPS) and the Global Progressive Forum – including researchers and elected officials – went to Dakar to promote relations between the EU and Senegal and to support its democracy.
