FEPS President mission to China

FEPS President Maria João Rodrigues travelled to China to participate in the ‘2023 Understanding China Conference’, which took place in Guangzhou from 1 to 3 December and counted participants worldwide. The conference was organized by the China Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy (CIIDS). CIIDS is a research and policy instate based in Beijing.

During the conference, FEPS President co-chaired a workshop on EU-China relations. The workshop addressed especially EU-China relations in term of economic and trade cooperation in the context of geopolitical conflicts. Besides Maria João Rodrigues, the workshop was co-chaired by Zhou Hong, Member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and CIIDS.
