Dear Friends,

War in our continent, increasing living costs, and the mounting pressure of climate change overshadowed our lives in 2022 and affect our thinking and expectations about the New Year as well.

We Progressives should maintain our resolve to build a European Union with more external sovereignty to protect our values and more social cohesion to strengthen our unity.

These goals have been at the heart of our activities and, together with our many partners, we will continue to pursue them in 2023 too.

We wish you a refreshing holiday period and the best achievements for the coming year!

Maria João Rodrigues, FEPS President
László Andor, FEPS Secretary General
