A different Europe. The urgency to impact radical change to the project of European integration and EU policies brought about the idea to develop a concrete proposal for Europe to finally move beyond austerity to a more democratic and inclusive Union that aims towards work, innovation and sustainable growth, able to recover its role on the international stage. Addressing the risk of advancing anti-European forces and populist movements, this book suggests a possible path towards a Europe that, starting from its core values and conscious of its uniqueness and potential, returns to represent hope for the younger generation. This is a passionate exhortation for progressives to address the crucial decisions that lie ahead, starting with the forthcoming European elections, armed with a renewed Europeanism that looks to the future with hope.
