By including all individuals “by default” we gain an insight into how we view justice but this has some limitations. How can we ensure we provide legitimate recognition to others whilst allowing us to live together and accept our differences? Thinking of the collective and the unique characteristics of a Republic the single most important feature is one of dignity.
