FEPS hosted the book launch of the FEPS Primer ‘Climate progress in the EU and the world‘ by Stephen Minas on the 26 November at 18:30 at the Librebook. This is the newest addition to the FEPS Primer series, books written with an educational purpose to introduce new audiences to specific technical fields, with this volume focusing on climate policy.

Stephen Minas’s new book offers insight into how climate policy has been made at the EU level, the main tools used, the most important actors, and the path forward.

Climate progress in the EU and the world

The primer explains why climate change matters, the key issues in climate politics, and the international community’s climate goals. It covers EU climate law and policy, and suggests progressive principles for strengthening climate change action.

This primer is an essential and empowering read amid what is rising political conflict. This instructive volume provides systematised knowledge, proud records of progressive political achievements, and crucial arguments to strive for a fairer and more sustainable world.

These issues and more were discussed at length during the launch. If you are interested in this event, please do not hesitate to contact Caitlin Reder, Project Officer at caitlin.reder@feps-europe.eu .
